Islington Multi-Professional Educator Group

The Islington Multiprofessional Educator Group (MPEG) is part of the North Central London (NCL) Training Hub’s Faculty and Quality programme led by Islington Training Hub.

Our MPEGs support the professional development of educators, supervisors and managers across both clinical and non-clinical roles.

The workshops aim to:

  • Strengthen supervision and teaching skills

  • Share learning and practical challenges

  • Build confidence in delivering education

  • Exchange ideas and best practice

  • Help build a supportive and cross disciplinary community of educators in the borough.

Monthly Workshops

The MPEG group meets monthly for educator workshops tailored to current learning needs of NCL primary care. These sessions are interactive and focus on practical topics relevant to daily work.

Following each session, we provide learning materials that participants can use to share knowledge within their teams using a Train-The-Trainer (TTT) approach to cascade learning.

The group is led by Islington Training Hub’s Educational Lead and Faculty Programme Director who brings local insight and a deep understanding of education in general practice.
